FEP(Freshmen Enrichment Program) in BINUS University is a program to introduce about BINUS University’s life to all new students every year. There are three parts in FEP. The first one is General Orientation. The second one is Inaguration. The last one is Academic Orientation.
1. General Orientation
General Orientation is like student orientation in high school. I got my General Orientation in the fourth week on Kemanggisan, from 15 to 20 August 2016.
In the first day, we had a briefing for the next day. We introduced ourselves. We chose the leader of the class. We watched and listened to Mars Binus video. We praticed FEP 2020 dance for the last day in General Orientation.
In August 17 2016, we had a ceremony to celebrate Indonesia’s 71st Independence Day on BINUS Kijang. Besides ceremony, there were many competitions, eating a cracker (kerupuk) without holding it, tug of war, sack race, spoon race. It was fun, although i didn’t compete for competitions 😀
We got many information about BINUS. We watched “Bunga Rampai”, the performance of all student organizations in BINUS, on BINUS Anggrek auditorium. We made a song-and-dance (yel-yel) to be shown at 3rd floor hall BINUS Syahdan in the last day of General Orientation.
2. Inaguration
“An inauguration is a formal ceremony or special event to mark either:
-the beginning of a major public leader’s term of office.
-the opening or first public use of a new civic area, organisation or project. Such as a museum, hospital or film studio.
The term, in a less formla context, can also be used to be refer:
-to the beginning or introduction of a new system, policy, or period.
-the first, maiden or initial use of something. For example, a ship, railway or even computer service of some kind.” -Wikipedia
BINUS Inaguration was held on August 30 2016 in Jakarta Convention Center (JCC). I got the 2nd shift for Inaguration.

3. Academic Orientation
We got lessons on Academic Orientation. I like the auditorium class ’cause it has comfortable seats.
